Apple Fanboys

August 31, 2011

Recently, a few Apple fanboys have been speaking to me about Apple and Steve Jobs and Microsoft and it started to annoy me how ignorant a lot of them are. So I decided to write a blog post. Steve Jobs didn’t “invent” anything. He’s not an engineer.  He’s not a designer.  According to the guy himself, he didn’t even know what a pancreas was when he got cancer. (How ignorant can you be?)

He’s just a good salesman, and a shyster to boot (he defrauded his own friend Steve Wozniak once). The only reason he made an impressive comeback is because he discovered how to defraud yet another group of gullible people: the youth. The iPod was not revolutionary (MP3 players existed YEARS before) and the iPhone is, and still is, a piece of shit.

The aforementioned Steve Wozniak is the man behind the original Mac. Xerox is the organization behind the revolutionary (for the time) GUI. Apple copied Xerox, and Microsoft (arguably) copied Apple, although it is possible that they copied Xerox as well.

If you want to admire someone, admire Bill Gates. At least he never bullshitted anyone and instead of focusing on showmanship he focused on business. Result: richest man in the world, Microsoft dominance, Steve Jobs ousted from Apple.

Rant Over

Rebecca Black

March 19, 2011

You know what, all I have to say on that matter is fair play to her.

Shes chasing her dream of being a singer, and not letting haters get in her way. I’m not saying that ‘Friday’ is the best song ever, but I think she has certainly achieved her goal. It’s been in my head for nearly a week now, and I find myself singing it, and often listening to it.

It’s funny how all the girls can like Justin Bieber, but despise Rebecca Black, the 13-year-old singer who has just released her first ever song. I hated Bieber at first, but now he has produced a fair few songs, I like his recent single ‘Love Me’. It’s a nice version of a classic, autotuned to the max. I think I smell a bit of jealousy in the air here.

You know what, I fucking give up. I have tried so damn hard, but nothing is good enough.

From this point forward, I’m doing what I want to do.

I’m the one that’s fucking given up everything to keep people happy, I’m the one who has made sacrifices. What do I get? Everything thrown back in my face.

Well happy 2011 Alex, here’s another load of shit for you to deal with. I give it a week before I throw myself into the Thames with brick tied to my feet

I am a DJ HERO

December 26, 2009

What a day. It started of excellently, and ended equally as excellent. I love my family, every single one of them.

Everyone was super happy with presents, and I got absoloutely ruck loads as usual. I just spent the last couple hours playing Dj Hero, and it turns out I’m pretty damn sick. I got the Renegade version, which has an even more badass turntable, and a cool Eminem/Jay-Z CD.

I got close to £300.00 cash, and also a tonne of other things. Clothes, sweets, gadgets. The usual suspects.

It’s now half one in on the morning of the 26th, and it’s disturbing looking over forums/talking to friends just how many people chose not to spend time with their family/loved ones, but instead chose to visit forums, post blogs and continue face(book)whoring. If I were to visit facebook, at any time during the hours of 12am 25th December, and 10-11pm 25th December, I would have to actually re-evaluate my life, seriously. People should be spending time with their family, and eating ridiculous amounts of chocolates! Not friend whoring, or being fake to all 398265478 of their ‘friends’.

Tomorrow, I think I’m going to have to tidy my room a little bit, put away my new belongings and continue my Dj ways.

I hate it when I write a post, and then read what I have been writing and decide to delete it. I’m not sure what winds me up the most, wondering what drove me to write what I did the first place, or realising I wasted time?
